A few thousand of them, to be exact.
This is Camp Scholler, part of the experience at EAA AirVenture. I’ll be there later this week to participate. Watching all of the unique and crazy campers and vehicles in the campground is almost as entertaining as the show itself.

Sadly no. Just a drainage ditch. Used to be farmland once upon a time.

Hey, I didn’t get to spend much time in the campground (too many planes to see). I tried to watch for interesting conversions as I was going between our campsite and the flightline, but I didn’t see anything good.
